Sussex wedding photographer

Hi, my name is Harry! I am a documentary style wedding photographer based in Sussex who is happy to travel anywhere in the UK or abroad.

The journey of my photography career started when I fell in love with the art of street photography back in 2015. I loved the idea of capturing people and emotions and letting a single photo tell a story.

Luckily, I've managed to turn a weird hobby of photographing complete strangers in the street, into a career of being able to capture beautiful moments at weddings, into memories that will last a lifetime. Which is why I always think that every moment matters and it's important to have a photographer who strongly believes that.

What is documentary style photography?

Documentary style photography is for the people who want real moments captured and not forced awkward photos of you standing there, not knowing what to do with your hands.

Being a documentary style photographer is about story telling. It's about capturing the big moments, the small moments and all the little details in between.

It's about letting you enjoy your day and completely forget that you have some guy snooping around, taking photos.

Hate having your photo taken?

Being a someone who can't remember the last time they had their photo taken, I completely understand what it's like to hate having your photo taken (hence the lack of photos of me, on my own website). I understand that having a camera pointed in your face all day, isn't everyones idea of a 'fun' and it makes some people feel like they don't want or need a wedding photographer.

However, being someone who thrives on nostalgia and memories, I think having a photographer to capture one of the most special days of your lives is so important. And in 10 years time, you'll be pleased that despite your hate towards having your photo taken, you had a photographer at your wedding who genuinely cared about how you felt, and didn't spend the whole day telling you where to stand and when to smile.
